Atyrá is an ancient city of Paraguay, located 61 km from the country's capital, Asunción. Located on the ridge of High, is part of the department of Cordillera. Initially called ATYHA, was founded by the governor Domingo Martínez de Irala in 1538. Today is known as the ecological capital of Paraguay.
